The Clinical Laboratory Department of Shanghai YiDa Hospital is responsible for the laboratory related examinations for the clinical and health examination department of the whole hospital. It is built in full accordance with the national biosafety level II standard. It has passed the acceptance of Shanghai Level II pathogenic microorganism laboratory (BSL-2) and gene amplification laboratory. Laboratory is built in an area of 1,200 square meters.
The department has introduced and put into use the American Beckman PE large-scale fully automatic biochemical immunoassay assembly line, Beckman AU5800 fully automatic biochemical analyzer, Beckman DXI-800 fully automatic chemiluminescence instrument, Beckman Access2 fully automatic immunoassay analyzer, American Werfen ACL750 and ACL 350 fully automatic blood coagulation analysis system, American Ortho VITROS 350 fully automatic dry biochemistry analyzer, American Thermo Fisher 7500 real-time fluorescence gene amplification instrument, imported blood routine assembly line and other imported equipment. These helped us achieve intelligentization and informatization of the entire inspection process.
Based on the working philosophy of "examining details, being cautious & independent, and being rigorous, realistic and innovative", the laboratory department attaches great importance to the inspection quality. Since its establishment, the department has been building a comprehensive inspection quality system based on the ISO 15189 medical laboratory international quality management system to provide timely and accurate laboratory diagnostic information for clinicians.
